Thoughtful interiors, designed for real life.
Besondere Design Studio is a full-service residential interior design studio creating personal, collected and highly functional homes throughout Austin, the Texas Hill Country and surrounding areas.
From renovations and new construction to furnishings and finishing touches, every project is approached with intention—balancing the way a home looks with the way the people inside of it actually live.
FEATURED WORK
Homes with a story to tell.
Every project begins differently, but the goal is always the same: to create a home that feels intentional, functional and completely personal to the people living there.
DESIGN WITH INTENTION
I believe a beautiful home should feel like the people who live there.
At Besondere, design isn't about following a formula or creating a space that looks like everyone else's. It's about understanding how you live, what you're drawn to and what will make your home work better for you.
Through thoughtful space planning, material selections, construction details, furnishings and those finishing touches that make a room feel complete, I create interiors that feel layered, personal and distinctly yours.
Because good design isn't simply beautiful.
It should make everyday life better.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF DESIGN EXPERIENCE
Beautiful is only part of the job.
Interior design can involve hundreds of decisions—and during construction, many of those decisions affect one another.
My role is to help make sense of them.
I work alongside homeowners, builders, architects and trades to think through the details before they become problems in the field. From layouts and construction drawings to cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, materials and furnishings, I look at the home as a whole.
The result is a process that feels more considered and a home that feels cohesive from the architecture down to the last pillow.
MEET HANNAH
Hi, I'm Hannah.
Designer, founder of Besondere Design Studio, and soon-to-be mom.
I've spent my career in residential design working everywhere from furniture and space planning to renovations, construction documentation and new builds.
I started Besondere because I wanted to create something of my own—a studio where I could do meaningful creative work, build genuine relationships with my clients and have the freedom to build a life alongside the business.
Now, as I prepare to become a mom, that purpose feels even more important.
I want my daughter to grow up watching me create, take chances and build something I'm proud of—and I want the flexibility to be there for the little moments with her, too.
Besondere is a very personal business for me, and I think that's reflected in the way I approach my clients' homes. I care about the details, but I care just as much about the people who will live with them.
