An Austin, Texas mid-century gem getting a full refresh in the common spaces. With growing kids in the home, function and performance were at the forefront of every selection. This design proposal explores a harmonious blend of Mid-Century architectural elements with the relaxed, inviting essence of California Casual aesthetics. Rooted in clean lines, open floor plans, and a strong connection to the outdoors, the Mid-Century framework provides a timeless foundation. Layered atop this structure, the California Casual style introduces natural textures, soft neutral tones, and effortlessly curated spaces that prioritize comfort and livability. The result is a home that feels both architecturally refined and refreshingly laid-back—where vintage sophistication meets modern ease.
